UK Lottery Apps
The United Kingdom might be a fairly small place in geographical terms, but it boasts some extremely big lottery games, so it is fitting that there are some extremely useful UK Lottery apps to go with them. The first lottery game in the UK was the Lotto (originally known as the National Lottery), which was launched in 1994. That game was a massive success, and the enthusiasm that Brits had for the Lotto helped to spawn a wide range of other draw-based lottery games. One of the most notable of these was EuroMillions – a game that was launched in France, Spain and the UK in 2004 and is now played in a total of nine European countries.
The UK lottery apps featured on this page have been designed with specific games in mind, so if you are the kind of player who likes to focus on just one or two games you can download the apps that specifically relate to those lotteries. Of course, if you like to play the full range of UK lottery games then you would probably benefit from having all of the apps on your device. All of the UK lottery apps featured here are free to download and use so it won't cost you a single penny to make the most of every one of them.
New UK lottery apps will be offered as and when new lottery games are launched, but right now the range available is as follows:
This National Lottery – Lotto app is so-called because there are lots of Lotto games in the world and this one specifically relates to the UK game that was originally referred to as the National Lottery. When you launch the app it will greet you by displaying the results of the five most recent draws. Lotto draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday, so the home screen covers games from the last two-and-a-half weeks. An Archive icon gives you access to all previous Lotto results going back to the very first draw in November 1994. Tap the Generator icon to get a random selection of numbers for your next entry or use the Checker to see how your previous entries performed.iPhone Version ›Android Version ›
The EuroMillions lottery game introduced a second weekly draw in 2011 (there are now two draws per week, every Tuesday and Friday) so having this Euro-Millions app on your device is doubly useful. When you launch the app it will automatically connect to the results database and display the results of the five most recent games, with the very latest result at the top of the screen so that you can see straight away whether or not your numbers have come up. Other features of this app include a Number Generator, Number Checker, and the ability to browse through a complete Archive of results going back to the very first draw in 2004.iPhone Version ›Android Version ›
Thunderball is a 5 from 39 game that is played four times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, so the Thunderball App will be very useful to anyone who plays regularly. Launch the app and you will see the results of the five most recent draws. For ease of reading the main numbers are coloured purple and the Thunderball number is white, so it shouldn't take you more than a moment or two to see if you have won yourself a fortune. If not, check your old tickets against past results using the Checker or by looking through the Archive, and if you still haven't been lucky simply tap the Generator icon to grab a whole new set of numbers for the next game!iPhone Version ›
Health Lottery App
The Health Lottery is operated by an entirely different organisation to other UK lottery games, and its aim is to raise funds for a variety of health-related charities across the country. There are draws every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the home screen shows the results of the last five draws, so you can check a week of results in a matter of seconds. If you're thinking about which numbers to put on your next ticket you could use the built-in Random Number Generator to give you some ideas. The Health Lottery app includes an Archive of results that go back to the first ever draw in October 2011 and a Number Checker feature also allows you to check any particular set of numbers against previous results.iPhone Version ›Android Version ›
Irish Lotto App
Although the Irish Lotto is not a UK lottery game, it is one that many UK lottery players like to participate in, and so there is an Irish Lotto app to cater for that keen interest. Irish Lotto draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday, and results for the five most recent draws are downloaded and displayed as soon as this app is launched. A banner of options at the foot of the screen makes it possible for you to generate a random selection of numbers for your next entry, check to see how your numbers fared in previous games or access a complete database of Irish Lotto results that goes right back to April 1988.iPhone Version ›
