European Lottery Apps
European lottery players are spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding which games to play because there are so many of them, but a handful of European lotteries have become 'superstars' thanks to their massive popularity, not just in their country of origin but around the world. The European lottery apps highlighted on this page focus on the 'superstar' games just mentioned so that you can keep yourself up to date with the latest results no matter where you happen to live.
The biggest lottery game in Europe in terms of geographical availability is EuroMillions, which is played every Tuesday and Friday in Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. Jackpots in this game start at €15 million and can roll over repeatedly to reach as high as €190 million, so it isn't surprising that EuroMillions is a European favourite.
Two other very popular European lottery games are SuperEnalotto and the Irish Lottery. SuperEnalotto is played in Italy and offers some staggeringly large jackpots, although it has to be said that those jackpots reflect the huge odds that players need to beat to win them. The Irish Lottery, by comparison, is one of the easier lottery games in the world as far as the odds of winning a jackpot is concerned, but the jackpots tend to be much more modest than those offered by EuroMillions or SuperEnalotto because of that fact.
Whether you are the kind of player who likes to aim for the biggest possible jackpots regardless of the odds, or you prefer to play for smaller jackpots that give you a better chance of winning, one or more of the following European Lottery apps should prove useful…
This EuroMillions app allows you to obtain the latest lottery results within minutes of each draw taking place. Launch the app and it will automatically retrieve the results of the last five draws and display them on the home screen. Then, if you would like to check your numbers against earlier draw results, you can either use a built-in Checker facility or you can browse manually through a complete Archive of results that goes back to the very first draw in February 2004. This app also includes a Generator feature that will generate a random selection of numbers for you to use (or not, as you prefer) the next time you play the game.iPhone Version ›
Irish Lottery App
Having the Irish Lottery app on your iPhone or Android smartphone will make it easy to find out if you have become the latest jackpot winner – simply launch the app and the results of the five most recent games (which take place every Wednesday and Saturday) will be right there on the screen. A Checker feature allows you to enter any six numbers and find out how they fared in previous draws, and a Generator tool can be used to generate numbers for your next Irish Lottery entry at random. Those of you who enjoy looking through historical results can browse the Irish Lottery results database right back to April 1988 – just tap the Archive icon to get started.iPhone Version ›
The SuperEnalotto game takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and the SuperEnalotto app will display results for the last five games as soon as you fire it up. There is an Archive of past results that goes all the way to December 1997 and these are categorised by year for ease of use. That said, if you simply want to check to see if any of your numbers have succeeded in previous draws, with the most recent results presented first, simply use the Checker feature. Should you want to generate some random numbers to use in your next SuperEnalotto entry, tap the Generator icon at the foot of the screen and you're good to go.iPhone Version ›
